Evening class today! Cos ok, I admit, I was lazy to go in the morning lol. I reached home past 10pm last night.. and after a big dinner I just wanted to sleep in #piglife hahaha.

I think I finished quite fast? :P Prolly about half an hour. Didn’t really check my timing but I had 10min to spare before class ended haha. The movements in this wod were quite ok for me except cal bike! The bike was the worst cos it can get quite tiring and my legs seem to fatigue quite fast? :P

After the wod, felt like could have went for 20kg DB thrusters. I shall take note and try that heavier weight next time haha!

CF log 11/07/17 (Tue)

Went for 6.30pm class today cos it was raining sooo heavily when I woke up. Not sure if it actually got lighter/stopped by 6.20am (the time I usually leave the house) cos I went back to sleep :P

Idk why but my lower back was achy today. Felt it as I was doing the front squats! And there were sooo many squats today T_T

Yeppp my clean high pulls are lousyyy. Idk how I can clean so heavy relative to my high pulls lol. Must be not using the right technique ^^”

The reps for DUs are actually manageable. I think that’s like the most I can string comfortably hahahah. So the wod was actually ok despite the DUs! :D

It was supposed to be an 8:00 EMOM but I think there were too many people this morning to each get our own bar… and sharing bar meant we wouldn’t finish within the minute… so ended up 8 rounds lol. But we had to go immediately after our partner was done, so we’re still not supposed to rest too long. Quite tiring, though towards the end I think I got more used to the weight!

Did rope climbs. And ermmm tried the peg board after class but quite fail LOL. Whitney was like helping to push me up a bit hahaha. It really is harder than it looks to me!! Very sad how I find myself having more and more cf movements I cannot do HAHA :P

Partnered Whitney and we decided to go for the rope climbs instead… so I still haven’t managed to try the peg board. Was thinking to maybe try after class, but we finished with hardly time to spare before the next class used the space, so… hahah. Oh well, maybe next time then! WOD was pretty alright today actually. The clusters were the worst.

Lol, totally couldn’t keep up with the increase in deadlift weights. My 1RM is only 225#?!! Well, at least I managed to get to it for the last 2 reps… :P Deadlifts are really one of my weakest movements!

CF log 29/05/17 (Mon)

Didn’t sleep well last night so I actually felt rly sleepy and tired when I woke up this morning. It felt as though I went for cf yesterday and wanted another rest day, but fact is I didn’t go lol. On the contrary, I was actually quite sedentary and ate a lot?! D:

Dragged myself to go anyway. Aiming for 6x a week unless it’s a tyre flips week (then 5x lol).

So close to getting 2 TnG squat snatches at 55.8kg (~125#)!! Caught the first rep pretty nicely, then the second rep I guess I didn’t tighten/lock my shoulders quick enough so swung too much and the bar flew back so had to let go ahhh :P But still pretty happy with my attempt! 125# is starting to get comfortable?

Shoulders were super tight/achy today. It took sooo long to warm up! Even doing push-ups as warm-up today felt so tiring?!

Took about 23min to complete! There was hardly any chalk nearby today so had to walk to the other side of the box to get them… which is pretty far LOL. So each time I took a bit more than I usually would and made sure I did as many snatches as possible haha! It was quite mental towards the end cos my shoulders were really quite fried :P Glad I could manage stringing 5 snatches most of the time though!

Not gonna wod tmr cos I think it’s most likely gonna be tyre flips….. haha.
